Date:
Wednesday, March 28, 2012 - 17:30 to 20:30
Event Description:

Because we don't want our guests paying service fees, a cover donation of $4.00 will be asked at the door. Please bring cash. Proceeds go towards EWB & BCCIC in improving this quarterly event.

Making Connections Happen

The British Columbia Council for International Cooperation (BCCIC) and Engineers Without Borders (EWB) would like to invite you to International Development Drinks at the Blarneystone Pub in the heart of Gastown.

This evening will provide an opportunity to connect with all major NGOs that are operating in Vancouver. Additionally, we will be hosting returned overseas volunteers, graduate students, professors, members of CIDA, and young social entrepreneurs. Join us for a night of socializing and sharing.

Door Prizes provided by: EthicalDeal and Olla Flowers.

#devdrinks icebreaker: Connecting...the...dots.

Deep relationships emerge from seemingly disparate concepts. This evening, guests will participate in groups in brainstorming connections between development-related problems. Participation, energy, and willingness to share will make this exercise successful. We highly encourage tweeting using the #devdrinks hashtag.
