A Discovery Walk for Stanley Park Ecology Society

Description of walk: Learn about the structure, ecology and global distribution of temperate rainforests and discover the answer to such questions as “Why can temperate rainforest trees reach such enormous size?” and “Why can some tree species in rainforests live for well over 1000 years?”

Meeting time and location: 1:30 pm at Lost Lagoon Nature House.The Nature House is located on the south-east shore of Lost Lagoon under the viewing plaza at the north end of Alberni Street.
