Video Description:

Roller coaster aficionado David Ellis (UK) filmed his fun and exhilarating demonstration of gravity fueled, fossil-free transportation at the Mieders Alpine Coaster in Austria.

Ellis opted not to use the sled brakes and reached a maximum speed of 42 km/h down the 2.8 km long Mieders track, dropping 640 m from an altitude of 1,620 metres.
