I've never seen a cub like that before Paul! It looks quite young, and also so nimble and playful on the tree. It's adorable.

I briefly looked at Pacific Wild's website and how to support them, and it seems that they're mostly asking for donations and also sell educational material. Is this the organization that you volunteered with? Are there other ways that people can contribute so as to build more of a connection to the wildlife? Such as the work you were doing with the grizzlies.

Thanks for sharing, and hope you're well!

Hi Betty,

Kermode and black bear cubs are amazing climbers; agile and seemingly fearless of heights!

No, Pacific Wild is not the organization I volunteered with, but I definitely support the conservation work they do for Canada's Pacific coast.  It's a unique and special part of the world they're fighting to protect.  I recommend taking time to learn about the issues facing the coastal communities and environment..

Hope you're well too!
