What's happening?
Green Wednesdays is a monthly series of environmental movie evenings with timely documentaries, intriguing discussions and informative speakers. We are starting the New Year with a screening of "From the Waste Up - Life Without Plastic" (Cdn 2014) by local filmmaker Taina Uitto. What's the film about?:
What's the problem with plastic?! Would it be worthwhile to live without it, and why? This documentary follows the lives of families in Vancouver, British Columbia as they attempt to live without plastic for one year. Witness the positive change that takes place- from some major growing pains to the final conclusions. This documentary provides multiple possible avenues of inspiration for everyone to re-examine their own disposable habits.

Room 1030 (boardroom across from Admissions) at KPU Langley campus.
Cost?
Suggested $5 donation at the door.
