Hosted by Kwantlen School of Horticulture and Green Ideas Network.
"Join us on the 2nd Wednesdays of the month for environmental evenings at Kwantlen's Langley campus. Complimentary light refreshments and door prizes."
Kicking off the series: "KING CORN!"
"KING CORN!" is about two friends, an acre of corn, and the AMerican subsidized crop that drives our fast-food nation. They try to follow their crop into the food system, but what they find raises questions about how we eat - and how we farm.
WHEN: Wednesday October 8th 2008.
WHERE: Auditorium. 20901 Langley By-pass.
TIME: Langley Doors open at 6:30pm, Film begins at 7:00pm
